| Membership is an important link between 2MCR and the Macarthur Community. Membership is open to everyone including those who reside outside of the local area. You can just show your support or take the opportunity to take an active involvement within the station.
You will receive regular updates by post with latest news about the station. You will also be encouraged
to attended and participate at our regular meetings. All members are eligible to vote at meetings and
elect the Management Committee.
Members who reside within the Campbelltown, Camden and Wollondilly Local Government Areas are
classified as Local Members are eligible to stand for the Committee and entitled to two votes. Members
outside this area are classified as Associate Members who are only entitled to one vote and can not
stand for election.
Members are also eligible to apply for volunteer jobs within the station including on-air roles.
Joining 2MCR is as easy as following the application process outlined below:
- Complete a membership application form and return it to the Secretary either by posting it to PO BOX 1420, Campbelltown NSW 2560 or submitting it at our Campbelltown studios.
Membership fees are not required at this part of the process. Applications can not be accepted by fax or electronic means. Corporations, groups, organizations, institutions and other unincorporated bodies can apply for group membership.

Once you have finished filling out the form online, print the second page page then sign the form prior to returning it to 2MCR.

- All applications are presented to the next Management Committee meeting for approval. The station’s Articles of Association state that applications can be rejected by the Management Committee if:
- required by law; or
- the applicant has been convicted of an indictable offence; or
- reasonable grounds the applicant would not abide by the Community Broadcasting Codes of Practice; or
- there are reasonable grounds to believe the applicant would pose a security threat to the members or assets of the association; or
- the applicant is a political party

- After the application has been considered by the Management Committee your will receive a letter from the station. If approved you have 28 days to pay your joining and annual membership fees.

2MCR's offers one of the lowest membership fees of any Community Radio station in Sydney. We also offer discounted membership to pensioners, students, the unemployed and those under 21 years of age.
You membership fees cover the costs of posting out regular updates and meeting notices along with other administrative costs.
Annual Membership fees are due on July 1 and must be paid within one month. The membership from time to time determines the amount of both annual membership fees and the joining fee. The current rates are outlined below:
