A special program
prepared to celebrate the occasion with special recordings that Gordon has selected from best music played from the past 15 years of the program's existence including an historic performance by Australian pianist, Isador Goodman, of Rachmaninov's 2nd Piano Concerto.

Composer's Gallery actually started back in 1991
not long after I joined the station.
However its original title was "A Little Night Music".
During our tenure
at the Ingleburn studiios the name was changed to the curent title and was
broadcast on Wednesday nights at 8 pm.
When the station moved to the Queen
Street Mall location the program was broadcast of a Sunday evening at 10 pm and was moved to its current 8am Sunday Morning timeslot in 2000 where it has remained for
the last 6 years.
Whether or not this is a record for a program such as
this I do not know, however I can only hope that it will continue for another
500 programs, provided I am able to keep presenting it!
